I don't know much about the "Famous Findon Skid Kids" but apparently they're famous. Or at least were. A mate from Adelaide told me about them. These guys were big. All I can say is I'm sorry I never got the chance to see them, just like Jimi Hendrix.
While spectacular looking, I'm not sure how hard this is, provided one wears proper protective clothing and one's bike doesn't melt! A bit like whisking one's finger through a candle flame. Do it quickly and it's no problem.
ReplyDeleteI know this post is old but I cant help myself. This is an annual event and is not done by pro's. There is no fire rated safety gear either.... just a bunch of cycle speedway nuts showing haw we do it in the western suburbs.
